Any judge that makes such a ruling without any conviction to base it on should be disbarred on the spot. They are incompetent partisans that have no business making legal judgements for or against anyone.

She's just a low level circuit court judge for Cook County...not much more than a magistrate. She sits in the Traffic Division. I am not making this up!

ELECTION INTERFERENCE: The Illinois judge who removed Trump from the state’s ballot handled traffic tickets and minor misdemeanors. If every traffic court judge in the country can remove the leading presidential candidate from the ballot our country is doomed.

An open defiance of a SCOTUS case that the paint hasn't even dried yet, on pure political bias should be grounds for disbarment, or at least censuring and an associated fine. Is there any legal way in IL to invoke this process.

That's why its an expendable traffic court judge... The interesting part is why it is happening... What's the percentage? Why the attempt when it is sure to be crushed.

I reckon it's right up against the printing date, so the name stricken cannot be re-added as the ballots will have gone to print.

Because it is too early for it to be a standing judgement.... There's enough time to knock it down before March 19

Has to work its way through state courts first, but the SCOTUS ruling soon to come will render it moot. This traffic judge probably knows that but is trying to throw a monkey wrench into the Republican primary.

This is a blatant attempt by the Rats to interfere with the primary election. Of course the GOP will be silent on this and make no attempt to block it.

Since I voted by mail last week in the primary election I called the County Clerk to see if my vote will count.

He said I probably know more than he does just from watching the news...
