Donald Trump
GOP
   57,277   53.6%

Nikki Haley
GOP
   48,522   45.4%

That's NOT very overwhelming for Trump.  I've been assured by many Trumpers that he was going to blow her (and any others) out of the water by at least 40 points.  I'm with @Hoodat ...Trump's weakness is finally exposed.  He might win the nomination because of the braindead Republican base, but he ain't going to win the general, no matter how weak and senile Biden is.

I thought the Dems WANTED Trump?

Anecdotal, but I know several dems (all women) who told me they would vote for Haley, were she to secure the nomination.

So I wonder if Trump starts upping the ante with even nasty rhetoric towards Haley now.  That could get entertaining if she decides to get nasty too.

Very long lines here in Bedford, NH tonight. Biggest turnout I’ve seen for a primary in the 25+ years I’ve lived here. People do not do that when they are satisfied with the status quo.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

National Review
@NRO
.@NoahCRothman
: NBC’s Steve Kornacki provided some updated exit polling which illustrates the stark partisan divide between Haley and Trump.

Nikki Haley beat Donald Trump among independent voters with over 60% of self-identified Democrats backing her.

But Trump destroyed Haley with Republicans.

75% of self-described Republicans supported Trump while just one-quarter of GOP voters backed Haley.

“That is a swing of 73 points,” he marveled.

Maybe after he's finished 'marveling' he may want to take note that in the general election, Trump lost New Hampshire.  Twice.

BREAKING: TRUMP JUST BLASTED NIKKI, 'WHO THE HELL IS THIS IMPOSTER!'

At a time when Trump is in dire need of every electoral vote he can muster in November,  Trump goes into 'full-ass' mode in front of New Hampshire voters.

He figures it worked for him in '16, it'll work for him again.  I was so hoping for a DeSantis v. Haley battle.

Nikki Haley came in 3rd in Iowa, she didn't win NH despite more people who aren't registered Republicans voting in a GOP primary, she's not even on the ballot in the Nevada Caucus, and she's down by 30 in her home state. The absolute ego you must have to stay in the race when your path to victory is non-existent is really something.

Independents were 46% of the New Hampshire electorate in 2020, of which Trump only carried a 35% share.
But Trump got 90% of the pubs!

Manchester is historically very close to the statewide GOP primary vote. It's currently Trump +19.5 at the moment.

Very, very telling.
