NEW: More than 856k people have crossed into the U.S. through the southern border this FYTD (started Oct. 1st).

While encounter numbers are down slightly for January—They are higher than this time last year and continue to be higher than previous administrations.

This morning we were at 72k+ for Jan.
First 14 days of Jan. 2023: 65,414
