Maybe so. But that changes nothing.

Exactly.

Well, you are. You're stupid, you're evil and you're corrupt. You don't give a damn about this country or its problems, you just want to believe whatever Big Orange Man tells you to, no matter what it is.

Please get some rest.

No, it shows that you don't know what you are talking about.  For the record, the only times I voted for the Presidential winner was in 1984, 2000, and 2004.  Not that you would know that since you have a bad habit of blurting out the first thing that pops in your head.  It's not my fault that you can't accept that it is Trump's liberal policies that I oppose, not the man himself.  That is the main thing that separates you and I.  I oppose liberal policies always.  You only oppose the ones that Trump doesn't embrace.

Nobody here is talking about your vote for President Trump...and you know it...so cut the shit!

We're talking about recognizing who's a winner for the GOP nomination.

Your credibility just took a massive dump tonight.

Uh, no.  I don't vote for candidates based on their electability.  That's why the GOP has gotten stuck with liberals the last four elections.  And in all four of those elections, the GOP candidate failed to get even a plurality of the vote, much less a majority.  See, that is another thing that separates me and you.  Principle is what I go with.  You will never hear me defending $3 trillion deficits on a Conservative forum like you did here.

I have voted for Trump exactly one time in my life, still don't like the guy on a personal level but saw the bastards steal that election before my own two eyes, and I'm not about to get over it! I'm pretty damned sure I'm not the only one!

A victory for Trump, but a loss for conservatism and a tragedy for our Republic.

A fine lady was MURDERED for doing that! Hundreds of others are rotting in the gulag for it. I would very likely be one of them if could have gotten there that day.

I am with you on that.  But unfortunately, Trump lacked the political and legal competence to stop it.  And he still does.  Heck, he can't even put up a good legal argument against those persecuting him now.  I'm still waiting for that moment where Trump rises up, acknowledges his mistakes, and wises up to hire people of competence, not people who kiss his ass.  But I haven't seen the first hint of that happening.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

That's because you are not contemplating that.  It's late, get some shuteye, that's my plan.  Join me.
I have been contemplating that, for unrelated reasons, for a long time. There isn't a day that goes by that the thought doesn't cross my mind.

So what do y'all think?  $43 trillion national debt by 2028?

I'm torn up about it inside.

@jmyrlefuller Didn't you say you are a Christian?  The apostle Paul also was never married or had Children and he did amazing things.  Look at the affect he had on the world.  Do you think they had competent leaders in his day?  Stop with the pity party and get on spreading salvation through Christ.  Aren't we to spread the "good news"?  Enough with the pity party my friend.
Paul was a closeted homosexual who effectively committed suicide by persistently putting himself in harm's way thinking he was advancing the gospel.

And if I do die, I go to a God that is far more just than anyone here on this planet. If He even exists or cares.

If there's some kind of crisis..easily

What's the point? We're useless. We've lost to the worst character assassination campaign in political history, run by the dumbest people in America. Nobody is listening to us.

Some of us don't have a wife and kids to protect. We have no future. Maybe if you have that, you have less reason to exit, but I don't.

And the alternative? That'll get me kicked off this board, and would be impossible at this point. It's clear that the American people are too stupid to choose competent leaders, or have sound policy.

Evil is winning, and God sits and laughs at us. Where is God? When is it our turn to win one for once?

It is our turn to win win God says so.  He is in control, not us. Trust in him...not an easy thing to do.

So by His current path... never. Or by the time it's too late. "God's perfect timing."

I'm tired. I'm hurt. My voice is shot from a second infection in the past two months. Basically, I give up.

I'm going to bed.

@jmyrlefuller

People are imperfect.  Even good people can sometimes be fooled/tricked by people lacking in virtue, and it can be very frustrating.  But if we're going to be honest, the Republicans running against Trump weren't great candidates.  I loved DeSantis' policies, but he just wasn't a good campaigner.  He's young and likely will learn from this and come back better.

You're not old enough to remember what it was like in this country in 1979-80, but let me tell that it was extremely depressing.  Felt like we were about to be ground under the inevitability of Soviet domination. Then along came Reagan, and that mindset changed overnight.  The best way to maximize the chances of that happening again is for people who share our beliefs to keep fighting back, even when things seem bad.
