Mayorkas is acting as a foreign agent in support of the cartels and very much against American national interests.
I think he has some kind self-serving nefarious plan in mind. He is not doing this for Biden or for the Democrats.
His actions, his speech, even his appearance are all reminiscent of some classic "Dr. Evil" character from the movies. An enfeebled President, complicit courts and Democrat officials have allowed him to make up his own laws. He has been granted complete free rein to do whatever he wants to do with no restrictions by a weak and cowardly Congress. As such, Mayorkas has essentially usurped any existing immigration law and replaced it with his own 'laws' and his own whims.
When he is called to Congress he simply lies to their face with evasions and double-speak. Mayorkas smirks at Congress derisively and nothing ever happens. "I will get back to you on that", he says with a small smile. "I will have to get those figures for you", but no report is ever responded. He has made fools out of Congress, the American people, and the American judicial system as a whole. Mayorkas believes his is above the American Government, and that he is above the law.
He is doing this on his own volition and his own usurped and self-granted authority. No normal person could inflict this much intentional damage across all of America without a larger more sweeping specific goal in mind. How he has kept his office this long is absurd and is beyond any reasonable explanation.
I would like to believe that something significant will happen to Mayorkas but based on precedent, and many others such as Fauci and Garland, I doubt that anything will actually happen. It never does.
