A drunk is going start yelling, throwing stuff, and then he wants to fight you.

Maybe it has nothing to with being mellow or not, maybe it has all to with the other customers being sickened by the smell of skunk. I know it puts me off when my neighbors partake.

nomination prevented either man from collecting even a simple majority of votes. A total of 19 candidates got votes on the first ballot. By the time the thing
concluded, 60 different candidates had received a delegate’s vote. Floor demonstrations abounded between ballots, with the chants for “Mac! Mac! McAdoo!”
countered by Smith’s forces who cried out, “Ku, Ku, McAdoo,” as Robert K. Murray writes in his splendid 1976 book The 103rd Ballot. Fistfights and screaming
matches, featuring choice obscenities were common. On Independence Day, the 10th day of the convention, 20,000 Klansmen amassed across the Hudson River
in New Jersey to burn crosses and punish effigies of Smith.

In Madison Square Garden, New York City, from June 24 to July 9, a dispute during came up revolving around an attempt
by non-Klan delegates, led by Forney Johnston of Alabama, to condemn the organization for its violence in the Democratic
Party’s platform.

But Ku Klux Klan delegates defeated the platform plank in a series of floor debates.

The final vote was 546.15 for the Klan, 542.85 against it.
