Donald Trump Survives Assassination Attempt, Talks To Biden, Still Plans On Attending RNC Convention

Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump has left the hospital
and is fortunately in good spirits after experiencing an assassination attempt in Butler, PA
at a campaign rally. He has also talked with President Joe Biden, and furthermore, he still
plans on attending the RNC Convention in Milwaukee.

Recorded live on Fox News, Trump was in the middle of addressing his supporters, with
everything appearing to be going just fine. Then, out of nowhere, shots were heard in the
crowd, and he appeared to grab his ear/neck area after the first shot was fired. The Secret
Service detail quickly pounced on him as more shots rang out.

Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate David McCormick, who was in the front row when
the shots began, said that Trump was not the only one affected by the violence.

"There was a lot of blood and the police came in and helped carry that person out of the
stands so they can get the care they needed, McCormick said. He added that he believed
Trump was lucky to escape with his life.

According to Fox News, the shooter was killed. Unfortunately, one other spectator lost their
life, and one other person was seriously injured.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha tweeted out that after Trump walked off the stage, he spotted
blood on his right ear. The Secret Service had to get him off the stage, but as they did, he pumped
his fist in defiance and fired up the crowd by saying to them, "Fight!"

The last report I heard indicated the shooter was shot dead, one rally attendee behind Trump shot dead, and two critically wounded taken to Allegheny General Hospital in the northside of Pittsburgh. My guess, they were life flighted from Butler.

"During former President Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on the evening of July 13th
at approximately 6:15 p.m., a suspected shooter fired multiple shots toward the stage from an elevated
position outside of the rally venue," the statement reads.

"US Secret Service personnel neutralized the shooter, who is now deceased. US Secret Service quickly
responded with protective measures and the former president is safe and being evaluated. One spectator
was killed, two spectators were critically injured. The incident is currently under investigation and the
Secret Service has formally notified the Federal Bureau of investigation."
