I have heard over my lifetime of people  claiming that they would never follow or support a Hitler

People would follow anyone if were desperate enough. And if you look at the history of Germany post World War I, you can understand how they would be persuaded to follow Hitler

@LMAO

Yup,but I would HOPE that most of them were sorry they ever supported him by the time he was "fully out of the closet",and they discovered they had elected a monster.

The thing is that by the time you recognize you  have thrown away your freedoms it is too late to change anything because you no longer have the power/ability.

As Stalin once noted when asked WHY would he allow the people to vote,"It doesn't matter who votes. What  matters is who  COUNTS the votes."

@libertybele

NOT a problem. I knew you "Dims in a  closet" voters would remember it.

That's just hilarious coming from one who supports big government from the right... Accusing Conservatives of being closet dems because we won't support your ideals of overweening government.

And those that believe in government solutions to all of our problems are the problem themselves

@LMAO

Ok,Bubba,back up that mindless slogan by telling us all WHO can create the solutions if the government can't?

Or are you  confusing the words "can't" and the words "don't want to".

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

@roamer_1

Really?

What country do you live in?

One where solutions don't rely upon government largess.

Actually Biden is more analogous to Hitler in his intentional destruction of a great nation.

@catfish1957

Biden has no intentions,other than  to make it through  another day and taking in more kickback money.

Even then I suspect that "habit" is more responsible for his actions than an actual thought. I suspect it has been a WHILE since he had an actual original thought.

Trump is more Mussolini, but, he'll drop Nazi tropes to re-assure white nationalists that he's still got their backs.

@DefiantMassRINO

Ya better hide under your bed if he is elected,for surely he will be coming after you!

Ohhh,woe is you!

Not at all. Though I am not a fan of foreign entanglements.
It is the federal government that needs to go - Decimated would be but a good start.

But then, I know you don't think that way, @sneakypete . You seem to be enamored of big government and are unaware that the government big enough to give you what you want is big enough to take everything you have. And they will.

Why do you think federal government is for all that? My COUNTY did all that, not too long ago.

Anything that can be done in the private sector will always be done with more efficiency and at a cheaper cost. And anything that could be done at the local and state level is where it should start.

There are things that we have a government for such as the military, treaties, international trade, and protecting the country from invasion

No one is advocating for no government or no regulations. But as government grows, freedom subsides

Can you name one government program that is not going bankrupt and/or is being run efficiently?

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

What cracks me up even more is that he supporting a candidate who has donated to people like Kamala Harris, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton…

And he calls us Democrats
