Security chiefs have warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu several times in recent days that the West Bank is on the brink of a major eruption in violence, Israeli television reported Monday.

According to Channel 12 news, the warnings were relayed by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi and other senior military commanders, who said Israel risked a new front in the West Bank amid the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and ongoing clashes on the northern border with the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.

Besides Netanyahu, the report said the other members of the war cabinet — Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz — were also warned of the prospect of major unrest in the West Bank.

The heightened concern comes on the heels of Israel’s withholding of hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenues that belong to the PA in addition to refusing to allow some 150,000 Palestinian workers return to their jobs in Israel and the settlements, the report said, noting Netanyahu’s refusal to hold security cabinet votes to reverse both decisions, given pressure from his far-right coalition partners.

The network added that the military’s assessment was shared by the Shin Bet security service.

"Ask Zelensky for money,” bin Zayed reportedly told Netanyahu, sarcastically suggesting that the Ukrainian president could foot the bill with all of the international support Kyiv has been getting since Russia’s invasion

"The notion that Arab countries will come in to rebuild and pay the bill for what’s currently happening is wishful thinking,” an Emirati official told Axios.

MBZ couldn’t believe Netanyahu thought the UAE would be willing to pay for a problem that was created due to Israel’s decision not to allow the workers in, a source familiar with the matter told the news site.

In an escalation of earlier reporting that showed multiple "journalists" working for the Associated Press and The New York Times participating in the October 7th attack on Israel, live-stream footage has now been uncovered that illustrates even more direct coordination with Hamas terrorists.

As RedState originally reported, Hassan Eslaiah, who was freelancing for CNN, Reuters, and the AP, filmed himself riding into Israel on October 7th carrying a grenade. Another "journalist" was also implicated, though the Times defended his work despite evidence he had advance knowledge of the attack.

The claim from the Times was that these "journalists" had simply been caught up in quickly unfolding events and were merely trying to do their jobs. That claim has now been proven false. According to Honest Reporting, a UK media watchdog, two "journalists," both of whom did freelance work for the AP and Reuters at the time, live-streamed themselves showing off pictures of the atrocities, with one even bragging that he had helped take Israelis hostage.

Abu Mostafa then tells people to cross the border into Israel, proclaiming it a one-in-a-lifetime event that won't happen again. All of this occurred as Hamas' murderous rampage was still in full swing.

Houthi Attack on International Shipping

On Jan. 9, at approximately 9:15 p.m. (Sanaa time), Iranian-backed Houthis launched a complex attack of Iranian designed one-way attack UAVs (OWA UAVs), anti-ship cruise missiles, and an anti-ship ballistic missile from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Southern Red Sea, towards international shipping lanes where dozens of merchant vessels were transiting.

Eighteen OWA UAVs, two anti-ship cruise missiles, and one anti-ship ballistic missile were shot down by a combined effort of F/A-18s from USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS Gravely (DDG 107), USS Laboon (DDG 58), USS Mason (DDG 87), and the United Kingdom’s HMS Diamond (D34). This is the 26th Houthi attack on commercial shipping lanes in the Red Sea since Nov. 19. There were no injuries or damage reported.

On Jan. 3, 14 countries, including the U.S, issued a joint statement stating, "The Houthis will bear the responsibility for the consequences should they continue to threaten lives, the global economy, or the free flow of commerce in the region's critical waterways."

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Israel must cooperate with the United Nations in Gaza to get aid to civilians as Israel enters its fourth month of war with militant group Hamas.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell pressed Blinken on why there is still a lack of humanitarian aid entering Gaza. Blinken said it’s necessary for Israel to work with the U.N. to get the much-needed aid into Gaza, where 90 percent of the population is eating less than one meal a day.

“It is imperative that Israel work with the United Nations. It’s imperative that this assistance get in, that more of it get in, and that once it gets in, it gets effectively to the people who need it. The United Nations are the only game in town,” Blinken told Mitchell in the interview.

He praised the U.N. for getting aid “to people who need it,” adding that the organization has done “extraordinary things.”

“And it requires cooperation because there’s no alternative. There’s no choice. No one else is gonna do it. And if the U.N. wasn’t doing it, well, it would be Israel’s responsibility to do it. So this is something, again, that we’ve talked about extensively,” Blinken continued.

He added some “real progress” has been made to get humanitarian assistance to Gaza, but Mitchell noted that there are “still bottlenecks” in getting aid to the territory.
