A disheartening report about how Trump was convinced to go along with lockdowns
By Monica Showalter

For President Trump, the COVID lockdowns of 2020 have always been a touchy subject.

Like so many in America, Trump went along with what his advisors told him, and they told him "lockdowns"! That's how "fifteen days to slow the spread" became years to slow the spread, a blight lasting beyond Trump's presidency. This political plague wrecked all the good that he did earlier on the economy. Assuming no effective election fraud (a big 'if'), it probably cost him his re-election.

Jeffrey A. Tucker, founder and president of the Brownstone Institute, dug deeper into how such an impressive president like that could get so involved in that destructive idea, for which he has unfortunately has not apologized, nor confronted, but only tried to avoid as a subject in public. Trump's been lucky in one sense, because his leftist opponents have embraced lockdowns even more enthusiastically. But how could Trump get involved with that garbage?

Tucker did some digging, followed the timelines, and now lays out all the claims and scenarios from various memoirs of the players -- from the death of one of Trump's friends, to claims from a flattering advisor that lockdowns would enhance his respect among his staff.

But he went further.

They weren't Trump's lockdowns ... Trump left it to the states to decide how, or if, they would implement lockdowns.

The lockdowns were supposed to be a temporary measure to give Government and Health Care time to scale up facilities to receive a deluge of patients experiencing respiratory, and other, complications from Covid-19/SARS2.

Trump's Operation Warp Speed saved lives.

In the very beginning Trump suggested lockdowns though he walked it back a bit and ultimately left that decision up to the states.

Regardless, Trump continued to follow Fauci and Brix's lead for quite sometime.

As I have posted before with links, Obama shutdown Fauci's research while he was president.  Somehow under Trump it was given the green light again. Why?
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Trump's Administration deliberately funded long-term payments to people and governments that enabled lockdowns, and he gave the world's biggest soapbox to lockdown advocates who were highly influential to states and businesses, and schools.

If you supported all that, then it is fair to give Trump all the credit for that.  But if you didn't, it is equally fair to saddle him with all the blame.

More people died after the "vaccine" than before... That's a hard cold fact. Warp speed also killed people because affective alternatives to the "vaccine" had to be stamped out in order to allow "warp" speed to skip the normal testing/approval procedures.

Trump absolutely pushed lock downs and went so far as saying other governors who lifted the lockdowns before he and Fauci blessed them were killing their state's citizens. He's also on video claiming that he and he alone had the authority to call for lockdowns.

Trump is absolutely responsible for much of what happened.
