Hamas terrorists have started to surrender en masse in the area of Khan Younis, one of the terrorist government's last strongholds. The latest advance has the IDF operating in Southern Gaza, a move that has sparked outrage among those who want Israel to stop short of destroying Hamas (but hide that desire behind humanitarian concerns).
 

Photos and videos of Hamas fighters stripped to their underwear have begun to circulate showing the sheer numbers of prisoners being taken.


I look forward to the United Nations and the rest of the "international community" claiming that strip-searching terrorists before detaining them is somehow a violation of the laws of war. We all know that's coming, and there have already been a myriad of articles (such as this one from Reuters) quoting "Gaza health officials" claiming humanitarian abuses.

"Squad" Democrats gathered on Capitol Hill to call for a permanent cease-fire in Gaza on Thursday, doubling down on accusations that Israel is targeting civilians and committing "genocide."

Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., held the press conference alongside Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich. They also invited members of the Doctors Without Borders organization, which provides humanitarian aid in Gaza. Bush had vicious words for Israel during her opening remarks.

"When we hear genocidal rhetoric, when we witness devastation and mass murder, when we finance the bombs being dropped, when we intentionally disregard the suffering, we allow the people we represent to be complicit in mass atrocities," Bush said.

"And let me be clear about what's happening: These are war crimes. The targeting of civilians is a war crime; the targeting of medical facilities is a war crime, the starvation and withholding of water and electricity is a war crime; the collective punishment of 2.3 million people is a war crime, and we refuse to be silent," she added as Omar and Tlaib nodded in agreement.

Reporters could be considered 'complicit' in deaths of Israelis

Congress has begun investigating various media outlets that had reporters "embedded" with Hamas during the terror organization's attack on Israel on Oct. 7.

That was when terrorists, likely drugged up and with instructions to commit atrocities against Israeli civilians, did just that, beheading babies and burning entire families alive.

Further details revealed after the attack that killed an estimated 1,400 show that the terrorists raped both men and women, and murdered them in stunningly brutal fashion.

Having reporters embedded with an event is a common occurrence for media organizations, such as at protests, parades and such. But the legal and ethical questions of allowing reporters to knowingly accompany terrorists on a murder spree raise red flags the size of the state of Texas.

It's the Washington Examiner that confirmed Republicans in the House are looking into the facts after footage was unearthed that shows freelance journalists for CNN, New York Times, AP and Reuters present during the terror.

Israeli hostage Eitan Levi is murdered by Hamas

A 53-year-old Israeli taxi driver who was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7 has been murdered, the Bat Yam municipality announced Friday in a statement obtained by Fox News.

The Israeli city where Eitan Levi once lived said they were informed by the military last night of his death.

"Eitan, a taxi driver, was driving his client from the center of the country to Kibbutz Be'eri just as the terrorists were taking over the area," it said. "His body is still held by Hamas in Gaza. We hug the family and will continue to accompany them all the way."

The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum said in a statement to Fox News that it "mourns the murder of Eitan Levi.

They described Levi as "a warm, loving family man who always cared for others over himself.

"Eitan was a responsible and dedicated man in all his endeavors. He has an only son, Shachar, and together they loved hiking and dining at fine steakhouses. Eitan loved animals, dogs in particular," it added.

"Today, the family received the devastating news that he was murdered near Kibbutz Be'eri after dropping off a friend at her home on that tragic Saturday morning," it also said.

Hamas terrorists are firing rockets at Israeli civilians from within the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone designated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as a “safe zone,” deliberately endangering Palestinian civilians, an Israeli spokesman said on Thursday.

Israel has set aside the Al-Mawasi area in the southwestern Gaza Strip, near the Mediterranean coast, that is meant to be free from any attacks, and it has encouraged Palestinian civilians to evacuate there, and aid agencies to set up facilities there.

“The IDF continues to call on the residents of the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City to evacuate towards the area of Al-Mawasi, south of Wadi Gaza. The IDF recommends evacuating to the open areas in western Khan Yunis, in the area of Al-Mawasi,” it said on October 18.

Eylon Levy, addressing journalists, said that Hamas had fired rockets throughout the afternoon on Tuesday from Al-Mawasi, including a barrage of 12 rockets at 3:59 p.m. local time that were aimed at the Israeli city of Be’er Sheva and that were launched from close proximity to civilian tents and United Nations facilities in the humanitarian zone.

Parents of Teen Peace Activist Held Hostage by Hamas for over 2 Months Plead for Her Release




The parents of Naama Levy, a teenager and advocate for Israeli-Palestinian coexistence who was abducted on October 7 and was last seen covered in blood and being dragged by the hair by a Hamas terrorist, are calling on international organizations and countries to pressure the Palestinian terror group to release her.

The 19-year-old Levy, who volunteered with an organization dedicated to peaceful dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians, was kidnapped during the October 7 massacre by Hamas terrorists from her army base, Nachal Oz.

She completed her training as an observation soldier on the prior Wednesday, arrived at her new military base on Thursday, and was abducted on Saturday morning.

She last messaged her mother, Ayelet, at 6:55 a.m, writing: “We’re in a secure space,” while noting the unprecedented gunfire and rocket salvo outside.

Naama was later seen in footage from Gaza, visibly bloodied, handcuffed, and being forcibly removed from the trunk of a jeep by an armed Hamas terrorist who shoves her into a backseat, as Gazans crowd around to cheer and chant “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great).

Two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers were wounded in an overnight attempt to rescue hostages held by Hamas, the Israeli military said on Friday.

The IDF issued a public statement after Hamas claimed that it had killed Israeli soldiers who had attempted a hostage rescue.

In a statement, the IDF said:

    Overnight, two IDF soldiers were severely injured during an operation to rescue hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. During the operation, numerous terrorists who took part in the abducting and holding of hostages were killed.

    No hostages were rescued in this activity.

    The families of the two IDF soldiers who were injured have been notified.

    The IDF continues to operate in a variety of operational and intelligence methods, together with security organizations, in order to release the hostages, and to collect relevant information.

    IDF representatives are in contact with the families of the hostages, regularly updating them with all verified information about their loved ones.

Terror is only effective until its targets realize that they are already marked for death.

Hamas' mistake was they overdid the terror.  Hamas took what could have been an effective operation to obtain leverage by taking hostages; and their overkill made the Israelis realize that Hamas has marked all Israeli's for death.

So, for the Israeli's, it's an existential war of survival against a 2nd Holocaust.   The Israeli's have nothing to lose, but their very survival.

Where does he get the idea that America is somehow "allowing" Israel to defend itself by 'giving Israel some time' to finish the war. The words and phrases they use are similar to how a parent speaks to a child. It is difficult to understand what makes them think that America is 'in charge' and is running the war in Israel.

Furthermore, Russia destroyed entire city blocks in Ukraine with nothing but civilians in them. Russia leveled square mile after square mile of civilian housing and infrastructure. Russia kidnapped thousands upon thousands of Ukrainian children to reeducation camps in Russia. When did America tell Zelensky that he has 'one month' to wrap up the war? IDF says soldiers encountered Hamas terror cell inside school

Israeli soldiers encountered a Hamas terror cell within a school in the Gaza Strip before eliminating them, the Israel Defense Forces said Friday.

The Hamas fighters attempted to draw IDF forces from a counter-terrorism unit with the 74th Battalion into an ambush before a firefight erupted, the IDF said. 

The soldiers searched the school in the Shuja'iyya area of Gaza City and found a tunnel shaft inside a classroom, the IDF said.

“This is another example of Hamas’s cynical abuse of schools, they have turned places that should be safe-havens for children into hideouts for terrorists,” the IDF said.

A squad from the Lotar counter-terrorism unit was operating in Gaza for the first time as part of the 188th Brigade, authorities said.

The soldiers in the squad specialize in breaching and demolitions, as well as snipers. Video footage released by the IDF show soldiers firing multiple rounds at a wall where returning gunfire appears to be coming from during close-quarters combat operations. ........

The Red Cross has sparked outrage in Israel with how it has handled the mass kidnapping and massacre conducted by Hamas.

Families of Israelis being held hostage by Hamas were reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross in a meeting earlier this week, with the Red Cross telling one family they need to "think about the Palestinian side," KAN reported on Thursday night.

Roni and Simona, the parents of Doron Steinbrecher who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Kfar Azza on October 7, were invited to a meeting with the Red Cross earlier this week.

Doron needs a medication she takes daily and her parents thought that the Red Cross was finally willing to transfer the medication to her, but instead they were sat down and reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross.

"Think about the Palestinian side," the representatives of the Red Cross told Simona, according to KAN. "It's hard for the Palestinians, they're being bombed."

Yes, they aren't a very trustworthy organization and I haven't donated to them in decades. There are much better organizations to donate to.

IMHO a better option: Mercury One has donated over $320 thousand dollars to help Israel.

I stopped donating to The Red Cross over a half century ago. They were worthless then and nothing has changed.
