Hamas releases a propaganda video regarding the Bibas family. The video appears to show that Yarden Bibas is alive.

All four members of the Bibas family — Yarden, his wife Shiri and their sons Ariel, 4, and baby Kfir — were abducted to Gaza on October 7, but Yarden was abducted separately from the rest of his family.

Hamas yesterday issued an unverified claim that Shiri, Ariel and Kfir had been killed in an Israeli bombardment; the IDF said it was looking into the “cruel” claim.

The Hamas terrorist attack at a Jerusalem bus stop that killed three people, including a rabbi and pregnant woman, didn't "technically" violate the truce since the attack didn't take place in Gaza, according to White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.

"I don't want to get -- I'm not, I'm not a lawyer here. This attack happened in Jerusalem. Pauses in the fight were specific to Gaza," Kirby said at a press conference.

The White House spokesman went on to say the terrorist attack was "a stark reminder of who [Israel is] facing."

Kirby says US working 'by the hour' to extend Israel-Hamas cease-fire

White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Thursday that the U.S. is working "by the hour" to extend the Israel-Hamas cease-fire.

"We're going to continue our efforts with Israel, with Qatar, obviously, with Egypt to support and extend this pause as much as we can and to help secure the release of all the hostages held by Hamas terrorists," Kirby said at the White House press briefing.

"I know one of the first questions I'm going to get is what are the chances of an extension? And I just can't tell you that right now, except to tell you that we're working at it literally by the hour to see if we can get this seventh day turned into an eighth and ninth and tenth and beyond," Kirby continued.

"But all I can do is tell you where we are right now, and we're glad that we got a seventh day out of this. The IDF, the Israeli Defense Forces, have noted that at least at the time that I came out here, two hostages had made their way back. I don't know if there'll be more. We certainly hope they'll be more," he added.

According to information released by the Red Cross, six Israeli hostages are on their way toward Israeli territory, the IDF said Thursday.

The six freed hostages were identified as siblings Bilal and Aisha Ziyadne, Ilana Gritzewsky, Nili Margalit; Shani Goren and Sapir Cohen, per Tal Schneider of Times of Israel

The bus holding the hostages arrived at the Rafah welcome center in Egypt, where the rest of the hostages have been transferred out of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas has released a propaganda video of Israeli hostage Yarden Bibas — one day after the terror group claimed his wife and two young children were killed in an IDF airstrike.

The chilling video was uploaded on social media and features the 34-year-old father in tears as his captors inform him that his children, 10-month-old Kfir Bibas and 4-year-old Ariel, have been killed along with his wife and wife, Shiri Silverman-Bibas, 32.

Bibas goes on to blame the death of his wife and children on Israel, pleading with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to allow their bodies to be returned to Israel.

Hamas claimed in a statement released with the video that it had offered to release the bodies of Shiri and her children to the IDF, but that the Israeli military allegedly refused.

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari refuted the claims and reiterated that Hamas’ testimony regarding the fate of the Bibas family has not been verified.

“The Hamas terrorist organization presented harsh documentation of Yarden Bibas,” Hagari said of the latest propaganda video. “Our hearts are with the entire Bibas family. We will continue to return all our captives.

Hamas is “willing to extend the truce” with Israel, according to an AFP source.

“The mediators are currently making strong, intense and continuous efforts for an additional day in the truce and then working to extend it again for other days,” the anonymous source said.

The truce, which is now in its seventh day, has resulted in dozens of Israeli hostages returning to Israel and the release of over 200 Palestinian prisoners as humanitarian aid flows into Gaza.

When they say, "the Biden Administration" will not tolerate, they are openly signaling that Biden himself is out of the loop. These directives are being formulated and pushed forward by the people behind the scenes who are actually running America, such as Obama and his former staff among others. Unfortunately, many of these people are anti-America and anti-Israel.

I doubt Israel is overly concerned about what Obama wants when it comes to dealing with Hamas. Hamas is a deadly threat to the nation of Israel. It must be destroyed at any cost. Obama/Blinken cannot change this fact.

At this point Israel seems to be sticking to airstrikes to soften targets, IDF ground forces have yet to start to extend their advances further into the Gaza Strip as Qatari mediators claim talks are ongoing to try and have another ceasefire and hostage release deal agreed upon.

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says 32 people were killed and dozens injured in Israeli airstrikes across the strip since the end of the ceasefire.

Many strikes were reportedly in Khan Younis in south Gaza. This video is from Al-Qarara, one of the neighborhoods ordered by the IDF to evacuate.

~ During the night it still seemed like an agreement could be reached to extend the truce by another day by the 7:00 a.m. deadline.

~ Hamas doesn’t deliver a list of hostages expected to be released today.

~ 5:48, rockets fired toward southern border communities (intercepted by iron dome).

~ 6:53, another rocket barrage.

~ 7:03, the IDF announces Hamas violated the operational pause, and that its forces have “resumed combat against Hamas.”

~ 7:07, Palestinian reports of firefights in northern Gaza and Israeli airstrikes across the strip.

~ Since then a series of launches from Gaza and Israeli strikes.

~ Mediation efforts to revive the ceasefire continue.
