Earlier today, IDF dropped notes on Shati "refugee camp" west Gaza City, warning residents to vacate south immediately because IDF was going to strike Hamas terrorists there.
In response, the young men of the neighborhood marched in the streets chanting that they wouldn't leave and that they were "the men of Mohammed Deif" (Hamas chief terrorist).

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Sunday that it had discovered Hamas rocket launchers near sensitive sites, including playgrounds, as IDF soldiers penetrated deeper into Northern Gaza.

In a statement, the IDF said:

    During fighting in the Gaza Strip, IDF soldiers are exposing how the Hamas terror organization systematically uses civilian facilities for its terror activity. IDF soldiers located rocket launchers near a children’s swimming pool, as well as launch pits and rocket launchers in an old children’s playground in the Gaza Strip. This is further proof of Hamas’ deliberate use of civilian infrastructure and civilians – including children – as human shields for its military operations.

The IDF say they have struck over 2,500 'terror targets’ since the start of the war on October 7

Israel's defence minister has vowed that Hamas's leader in the Gaza strip will be killed as the IDF steps up its ground campaign within the enclave.

Yoav Gallant declared on Saturday: “The Hamas leadership is responsible. We will get to that leadership."

Speaking at a press conference, he said: “We will get to [Hamas Gaza chief] Yahya Sinwar and eliminate him. If the residents of Gaza get there ahead of us, that will shorten the war.”

Elected in 2017 as Hamas's leader of the Gaza strip, Sinwar is one of the founders of the al-Qassam Brigades that carried out the October 7 terror attack.

Arrested by Israel in 1988, he was sentenced to four life terms in prison but released in 2011 as part of a swap deal to secure the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

After the war, Gallant claimed: “there will be no more Hamas in Gaza".

He said: "There will be no more security threat from Gaza on Israel, and Israel will have absolute freedom to take whatever security action it seeks against anyone who raises their head in Gaza."

Palestinian president Abbas meets with Blinken, says there must be 'immediate ceasefire' to allow aid into Gaza Strip

Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a surprise visit to the West Bank on Sunday to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the city of Ramallah.

The top US diplomat did not announce he planned on visiting the occupied territory during his second visit to the region since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on Oct. 7.

Abbas told Blinken that an "immediate ceasefire" is needed to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, according to Reuters.

The two spoke for about an hour but did not address the media following the meeting.

"The Secretary also expressed the commitment of the United States to working toward the realization of the Palestinians’ legitimate aspirations for the establishment of a Palestinian state," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a readout of the meeting.

Israeli United Nations ambassador Gilad Erdan said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there was no humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to ask about President Biden. He was asked by reporters last night if there anybody progress towards a humanitarian pause. Is that true? Are you making progress towards a humanitarian pause in the fighting?”

Erdan said, “As far as I know, we are fully coordinated with the administration. We are closely monitoring the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Obviously, we always remind to everyone we shouldn’t believe or take any numbers coming out of Gaza at face value.”

He continued, “Everything is being controlled by the terrorists of Hamas. There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza. In coordination with the U.S. and the U.N., we allow the number of trucks entering Gaza now with food and medicines to reach almost 100 trucks every day. So we don’t see the need for humanitarian pauses right now because it will only enable Hamas to rearm and regroup and prevent us from our goal of preventing Hama terror capabilities.”

Erdan said, “I’m not denying the humanitarian situation in Gaza is very bad. It’s very sad that for 16 years, Hamas exploited all the money that was transferred to Gaza instead of investing it to build hospitals or water desalination power plants, only to turn Gaza into a war machine. It’s very sad. But Israel shouldn’t be held accountable for this situation.”

State Department employee accuses Biden admin of being 'complicit' in Israel 'genocide'

A woman identified as a State Department employee has used social media to accuse President Biden and his administration of being "complicit in genocide" toward the people in Gaza and warned that it could stifle his re-election chances in 2024.

Sylvia Yacoub, who has served for more than two years as a foreign affairs officer in the State Department's Bureau of Near East Affairs, according to her LinkedIn page, has outspokenly shared her opinions on the matter through a variety of posts to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Yacoub used the platform to take aim at President Biden and his administration over its support for Israel in the country's war against Hamas, though the posts have since been made private.

In a response Thursday to one of Biden's posts on X, which highlighted his support for additional U.S. military aid to Israel, Yacoub "You are providing significantly more military assistance to the government that is indiscriminately attacking innocent Gazans….you are complicit in genocide."
