Ground and armored troops can eliminate/trap Hamas fighters...so long as it's not missile/bomb delivered.

They will agree to any "ceasefire" (whatever...) and then just continue on as normal.

Ok, well let's look at that.
1. Israel is not stopping aid getting into Gaza, Egypt is.
2. Why would anyone imagine the hostages are ever going to 'get out'? A pause will make no difference.

How about not only no, but HE!! NO. There is significant progress. Cessations will only prolong things and take more lives. Seems like, to my recollections, the US did the same thing in Fallujah. With those results. I understand that from a public relations standpoint Israel is in a tough spot, however, it won't make any difference in the scheme of things. They are already painted as the "bad guy".

As soon as Hamas surrenders, there can be a "brief cessation". There is an article upthread about a woman blaming Hamas. I still believe that, although the gen pop may hate the Jews they don't necessarily love Hamas.

The recipients are asked to click on a link for an update on their loved one, according to Kan News.

“This is a message from Al-Qassam,” the message states. “This is our message: the release of all Zionist prisoners in exchange for the release of all Palestinian prisoners.”

And all of these different factions will NEVER all agree together to release all hostages. The hostages are scattered all over Gaza. They are not all together in some kind of warehouse or auditorium. There is NO single Hamas leader who even knows where all the hostages are.

The response to any such offer is proof. Show me you can do this and then we will talk. Release all Palestinian prisoners and I will immediately make peace between Iran and Israel. Release all the prisoners and I will make camels fly. There is no proof that the person or group negotiating has any ability to do anything they claim.

So make a deal that once all the hostages held by Hamas et al are released safe that Israel will release all the terrorist prisoners held by Israel, just omit the fact that Israel will release all their prisoners at other than ground level, like ground level plus 30,000 feet.
