Thousands of NYC protesters demand the eradication of Israel

At least 5,000 anti-Israeli protesters filled the streets of Bay Ridge Saturday at a rally where they called for the eradication of the Jewish state and demanded the United States withdraw its support of its closest ally in the Middle East.

Around 2 p.m., demonstrators converged on 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, packing the streets and sidewalk for the “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” demonstration in one of the largest Arab and Middle Eastern communities in New York City.

“We are calling for full liberation of all of Palestine . . . to every single inch, from river to the sea,” shouted one protester, repeating a refrain used by Hamas terrorists and their anti-Israel backers.

“We are not like other groups simply calling for a cease-fire,” added the woman, wearing a T-shirt of one of the event’s organizers, the radical leftist group Within Our Life.

Hey if they're that committed, fly them on over to Gaza and let them put real actions to their words. I'm sure Hamas will be looking for replacements...no need to land the plane, just push the blood thirsty animals out the door while flying over. I know America will be better off without them.

Yup,and while we are at it,we need to pull their  passports and citizenship  papers to make sure they can't come back.

Doing that would automatically put hundreds of million dollars a year back in our budget that can be spent o America and Americans.

 Israel increases number of hostages taken by Hamas to 212

The estimated number of hostages who are being held by militant group Hamas has increased to 212, according to an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson.

IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed at a Sunday morning press conference that 212 people were taken by Hamas fighters on Oct. 7, multiple news outlets reported. This is slightly up from the previous estimate of at least 203 people being held hostage by Hamas and comes just days after the militant group released two American hostages.

Israel entered its 16th day of fighting against Hamas, a militant group that the U.S. and other countries have designated as a terrorist organization, after its members infiltrated Israel in a surprise Oct. 7 attack, killing more than 1,400 Israelis.

Israel has since retaliated against the Gaza Strip, which Hamas rules. The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 4,385 Palestinians are dead as a result of the violence with another 13,561 people wounded. People across the world have taken to the streets to protest the loss of civilian life on both sides of the conflict and to call for a ceasefire.

The Biden administration has been unwavering of its support of Israel so far, vowing to back the nation in its effort against Hamas. President Biden also has also said efforts to secure other American hostages are underway after Hamas released Judith Raanan and her daughter, Natalie Raanan with the help of Qatar.

 US to further increase military presence to bolster deterrence in Middle East

The United States plans to ramp up its military presence in the Middle East as an act of deterrence amid the ongoing fighting in the region.

“Following detailed discussions with President Biden on recent escalations by Iran and its proxy forces across the Middle East Region, today I directed a series of additional steps to further strengthen the Department of Defense posture in the region,” Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced Saturday. “These steps will bolster regional deterrence efforts, increase force protection for U.S. forces in the region, and assist in the defense of Israel.”

Austin also said that he redirected the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Strike Group to join the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, which is currently stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. He said this move with “further increase our force posture and strengthen our capabilities and ability to respond to a range of contingences.”

He also said the U.S. will deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense battery in addition to Patriot battalions that will “increase force protection for U.S. forces.” He also said that he ordered more troops to prepare for deployment orders “as part of prudent contingency planning, to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as requited.”

The U.S. has vowed to back Israel in its war against militant group Hamas, which launched an unprecedented, deadly attack on Israel on Oct. 7 that prompted Israel to declare war on the group and launch a series of airstrikes targeting the group’s hotspots. The U.S. has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Senior Hamas rocket commander killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza, IDF spokesman says

IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says Israeli air strikes killed yet another senior member of Hamas overnight Sunday.

Strikes in the Gaza strip killed dozens of Hamas targets throughout the night, Israel said, including the deputy commander of the group's rocket array. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets into Israel since the conflict began on October 7.

"We are increasing the attacks in the Gaza Strip in order to reduce the threats to our forces in preparation for the next phase of the war,” Hagari said.

“We will go to the next stage under the best conditions for the IDF and in accordance with the decision of the political echelon,” he added.

Hagari did not name the commander.

Macron was expected to arrive in Tel Aviv on Tuesday where he would have met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as well as several other Government and Military Officials to discuss the War against Hamas and De-Escalation in the Region.
