The reasoning, according to a U.S. defense official, is to "deter regional powers from joining the war." - WSJ

The officials are deciding whether they want to have USS Eisenhower relieving the Ford group or keep both groups together.

I just read an account by an El Al crew member.

An Orthodox Jewish man who preferred to remain anonymous stood quietly near the El Al counter at New York's JFK Airport yesterday.

Anyone who showed him an IDF call-up notice got his ticket paid for.

I'm very concerned as to why this attack wasn't picked up by Israel in particular, and US. Either there are real internal problems with Mossad, or whoever planned this is very very good at hiding it, and I don't think Iran has that capability.

Keep in mind that Israel has had a lot of political turmoil over the past few years.  Netanyahu has been driven from office more than once, and has been back in power for less than a year.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., blasted far-left lawmakers for their "appeasement" of Iran's regime with pro-Palestinian positions, telling them to "shut the hell up."

At least 11 Americans are reported dead in attacks that included the kidnappings of elderly Israelis and a pledge to broadcast hostage executions if the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) launches retaliatory airstrikes.

Graham told FOX News the U.S. should warn Iran that for every hostage executed by Hamas, an Iranian oil refinery should get bombed. Tehran's oil industry is a key funding source for its malign behavior globally, he said.

"The only way you're going to keep this war from escalating is to hold Iran accountable. How much more death and destruction do we have to take from the Iranian regime? I am confident this was planned and funded by the Iranians," Graham said Monday on "America Reports."

"Hamas is a bunch of animals who deserve to be treated like animals." he added, suggesting Israeli forces should use this opportunity to invade Palestinian territory and "dismantle" the militant group.

Graham also accused President Biden of "appeasement" and said that left-wing lawmakers who have criticized Israel's retaliation against Hamas are "emboldening the enemy."

"To the ‘Squad’: Shut the hell up. You're emboldening the enemy. You're a disgrace to the United States Congress. You're siding with terrorists over a democracy called Israel," he said, adding he believes most of the Democratic conference does not agree with their far-left colleagues.

An expert says much of the blame for the growing list of deaths and unmeasured destruction raining down on Israel because of a war launched by Hamas terrorists can be laid at the feet of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

"The Obama administration and the Biden administration — this neo-Marxist Democratic regime that has been in place since 2009 — is anti-Israeli and pro-Iranian. Their foreign policy objective is to hand over hegemony of the Middle East over to Iran," charged Chris Gacek, senior fellow for Regulatory Affairs at Family Research Council.

"They have had one consistent objective: They’ve been trying for two administrations to undermine Israeli security. And they’ve lied about it," he said, according to a report in the Washington Stand.

Hamas terrorists launched their assault against Israel over the weekend, killing in cold blood hundreds of innocent civilians at a music festival, as well as hundreds more in settlements near Gaza.

But experts say that deadly attack, which is ongoing, "could never have taken place without the active support of the last two Democratic administrations, which have supported radical Islam in order to correct the legacy of Western 'colonialism,'" the report said.

Experts said in the report Hamas never could have gained the strength or support without the 14 years of Obama and Biden ideologies in Washington.

President Joe Biden addressed the nation Tuesday and confirmed that of the more than 1,000 civilians butchered during Hamas’ ruthless attack against Israel, 14 Americans had been killed. Having completed a third call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu detailing the array of U.S. support en route and already present, senior officials fleshed out the president’s remarks and suggested Delta Force and SEAL Team Six likely awaiting a green light.

Speaking with The Messenger under the condition of anonymity, two senior U.S. military officials addressed the hostage situation in the Middle East where an estimated 150 people had been taken since Hamas attacked on Saturday.

They confirmed that U.S. special operation forces in a nearby European country were placed on alert and, according to the outlet, “Sources described these troops as ‘door kickers,’ who could conduct a rescue effort themselves, if ordered.”

Gallant made the remarks while addressing IDF soldiers at the Gaza border after touring the kibbutz Be'eri, which had been the site of the massacre of over 100 residents by Hamas militants. After condemning the violence and praising the fighting abilities of the troops, Gallant turned his attention to the coming ground offensive into Gaza itself. He announced that all "restraints" had been lifted.

I am being told by multiple people in Congress right now that while they are inundated w/requests there is currently no known plan from the Biden admin to get Americans out of Israel. Few flights out are available & the American embassy is not operating...efficiently. Meanwhile:

A group established by a senior adviser to President Biden has vowed to protect pro-Hamas demonstrators in New York City.

Ramzi Kassem, a member of Biden's Domestic Policy Council, founded CLEAR at the City University of New York (CUNY) in 2009. CLEAR works to "create law enforcement accountability" by providing free legal aid to Muslims "targeted by local, state, or federal government agencies under the guise of national security and counterterrorism."

Following Hamas' deadly attacks on Israel, pro-Hamas demonstrators took to the streets in New York City. CLEAR vowed to defend the protesters if anything were to happen to them. 

"New Yorkers have the right to protest for Palestinian rights," CLEAR wrote over the weekend. "They did today, they will tomorrow, and they'll continue on until Palestine is liberated. And we'll make sure they're protected."

Florida-based nonprofit evacuates Americans from Israel, asks 'where is' State Dept

Americans in the hundreds have turned to Project DYNAMO to find a way out of Israel as airlines pause services and avenues out of the country continue to disappear.

"My team of case managers, who are based in America, they’ve been awake for three days just fielding hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of requests from Americans who are stuck," the project’s founder and CEO Bryan Stern told reporters during the first of several daily updates.

"Most of those hundreds equal a few people, meaning a father reaches out representing his family … not always the case, but very often the case," he explained, saying that his team was "completely saturated" with requests.

Hamas terrorists launched thousands of missiles at Israel and invaded towns along the Gaza border on Saturday, killing at least over 1,000 people, including 14 Americans, and wounding thousands more and prompting Israel to declare war against the Iran-backed group.

President Biden said during a press conference on Tuesday that his government has confirmed American citizens are among the hostages taken by Hamas. Israel has launched its own hostage rescue operations, with the U.S. seemingly providing intelligence mainly.

Airlines, including American, United and Delta, have suspended service to Israel amid the conflict, with United telling FOX Business that "the safety of our customers and crews is our top priority."

With few options open to them, Americans have turned to Project DYNAMO, a nonprofit headquartered in Florida that has conducted evacuation and rescue operations in Afghanistan, Ukraine and Maui since its founding in Aug. 2021, after the messy U.S. military drawdown in Afghanistan that left hundreds of Americans stranded in the country.

"We're still pulling Americans out of Afghanistan - I have 22 Americans I'm trying to get out of Afghanistan right now, that's my next call," Stern told reporters. "So we're busy. We're busy all the time with all kinds of things."

IDF says Hamas terrorists had weapons 'for an invasion' and 'built fortifications' in Israel

Israeli Defense Forces chief spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said Wednesday that Hamas terrorists had planned to remain inside Israel after the invasion on Saturday.

At a briefing on the war effort in the Gaza Strip, Hagari said about 5,000 rockets were launched towards Israel, local media outlet i24 News reported. Israel responded with ferocious airstrikes, hitting military targets inside Gaza and killing at least two high-ranking Hamas officials.

"We counted a thousand bodies inside the Gaza Envelope region and hundreds more on the fence," Hagari said, revealing the scale of the invasion, according to i24 News.

"They had weapons for an invasion and not just for raiding,” he continued. "“We still find them in hiding places or in the points where they built fortifications.”

Hagari said IDF killed 18 terrorists in the last 24 hours inside Israel, including in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, Kibbutz Mefalsim, in Zikim, in Kibbutz Re'im and in the city of Ashkelon.

"We are augmenting the standby units throughout the country with thousands of weapons," Haragi said.

 Hamas founding member ‘Abu Osama’ reportedly among those killed in Israeli airstrikes

A founding member of Hamas — the terrorist group behind the weekend slaughter of more than 1,200 people, including babies — was among those killed Tuesday in an Israeli air strike on Gaza, according to local reports.

Abd al-Fattah Dukhan, a senior Hamas official known as “Abu Osama,” was killed in an attack by Israeli Defense Forces in the central Gaza Strip, Israel’s KAN public broadcaster reported, citing local Palestinian reports.

The prominent member was taken down in the Nuseirat neighborhood in the center of Gaza, according to the report.

Two other senior Hamas leaders, Zachariah Abu Ma’amar and Jawad Abu Shamala, were also killed in overnight airstrikes over Gaza on Tuesday, the IDF said, according to Israel National News.

Dukhan, a school principal at the al-Nusayrat refugee camp, was one of those at a 1987 offshoot meeting of the Muslim Brotherhood during which Hamas was founded by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, a Palestinian who lived in Gaza.
