A couple of things. Why in the hell do the people sitting at that table need name plates? My guess is their names are on both sides and facing Biden so he has some notion of who they are?

The Biden administration estimates there are 500 to 600 American citizens in the Gaza Strip, with some looking for safe passage out, according to two reports.

A senior administration official told the Wall Street Journal that they are talking “intensively” with Egypt and Israel about arranging safe passage out, including over the border into Egypt.

“We have to carefully work with the two governments, and that’s part of what these discussions are about,” the official said.

The Americans and other foreign nationals in Gaza include United Nations workers and members of non-governmental organizations and journalists, U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios.

As far as what the U.S. is doing to get them home, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said beginning Friday, the U.S. government will arrange charter flights to provide transportation from Israel to sites in Europe. He said:

Water cannon and tear gas were used to disperse a banned pro-Palestine rally in Paris tonight as French police moved to arrest its organisers.

It followed the country's Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin saying there was 'no place' for such protests against the Gaza War following Saturday's terrorist atrocities.

Crowds built up around Republic square in the French capital on Thursday, chanting 'Free Palestine', 'End the Siege of Gaza', 'Israel murderer' and 'Macron accomplice' - in reference to the French President's backing of Israel.

Hundreds gathered brandishing Palestinian flags, and other symbols showing their support for one side in the Arab-Israeli conflict, which erupted when Hamas terrorists launched a violent attack on Israeli civilians on Saturday.

Soon after 8pm a water cannon soaked many of those in the crowd of around 2,000, sending them running for cover. Tear gas was then unleashed, as CRS riot patrols moved in to clear the area.

Napalm was a wonderful weapon. It flowed into foxholes, bunkers and trenches, where it would adhere to both victims and surfaces. Napalm could burn for up to ten minutes, also consumes high amounts of oxygen.

Is it ethical to refuse medical treatment to Hamas terrorists seeking care in Israeli hospitals, even though healthcare professionals have a moral duty to refrain from discrimination based on non-clinical factors?

It is a terrorist attack. The objective of the attack is not the immediate acquisition of real estate, it is to terrorize the populace and keep people from sleeping at night. I think it did that, despite galvanizing the national will to make sure it does not happen again.
