I'm convinced we are lost as a country.  I got to see my 2 nieces over the weekend for a get together.  The oldest one works for one of the most liberal representatives in congress, in D.C.  The youngest is in college in Canada getting a degree in drama or the such.  She shows up with half of her head brunette and the other half blonde, black army boots, black nails, black eye makeup, unshaven legs, unshaven pits, tattoos on her legs and a nose ring and this was to a funeral.  These are the mental midgets who vote.  I couldn't hardly talk to them....  God help us...

The Islamist militant Hamas movement threatened to execute an Israeli captive every time Israel bombs a Palestinian home without warning, as Israel called up an unprecedented 300,000 reservists and imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip, raising fears it planned a ground assault.

The violence, which has claimed more than 1,500 lives, prompted international declarations of support for Israel after a devastating weekend attack by Hamas, and appeals for an end to the fighting and protection of civilians.

Israeli TV channels said the death toll from the Hamas attack had climbed to 900 Israelis, with at least 2,600 injured, and dozens taken captive. Among the Israeli dead were 260 mostly young people gunned down at a desert music festival, where some of the hostages were abducted.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed revenge in a fiery speech accusing Hamas of executing tied-up children and other atrocities. "This vile enemy wanted war and it will get war," he said.

Gaza's Health Ministry said at least 687 Palestinians had been killed and 3,726 wounded in Israeli air strikes on the blockaded enclave since Saturday. Apartment blocks, a mosque and hospitals were among the sites attacked, and the strikes destroyed some roads and houses, according to media reports and eyewitnesses.

Israel also bombed the headquarters of the private Palestinian Telecommunication Co., which could affect landline telephone, internet and mobile phone services.

The strikes continued into the night on Monday. The Israeli military said it hit targets in the Gaza Strip from the sea and air, including a weapons depot it said belonged to Islamic Jihad and Hamas targets along Gaza's coast line.

Hamas spokesperson Abu Ubaida issued the threat on Monday to kill Israelis among the dozens held captive after the surprise attack on Saturday morning. He said Hamas would execute an Israeli captive for every Israeli bombing of a civilian house without warning, and broadcast the execution.

There was no immediate response from the Israeli military to that threat. Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said more than 100 people had been taken captive by Hamas during the deadly cross-border incursion over the weekend...........

US starts delivering munitions, military equipment to Israel in war against Hamas

The US is already sending shipments of munitions and military equipment to Israel to aid the Jewish state in its war against Hamas.

John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesperson, confirmed to the Associated Press Monday military aid is “making its way” to Israel.

“We fully expect there will be additional requests for security assistance for Israel as they continue to expend munitions in this fight,” Kirby said. “We will stay in lockstep with them, making sure that we’re filling their needs as best we can and as fast as we can.”

Israel’s war against Hamas began after armed terrorists killed, wounded and kidnapped Israelis in a sneak attack that began Saturday morning.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to take “mighty vengeance.”

Thanks to her, Kibbutz Nir-Am didn’t suffer any casualties. As the head of Kibbutz security, Inbal took charge and  deployed kibbutz members to different points to defend the community. They fought off 25 Hamas terrorists by themselves, saving the entire kibbutz.

White House: 'No intention' to send US troops into Israel

The Biden administration has "no intention to put US boots on the ground" in Israel as it works to support the country's fight against Hamas, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Monday.

However, the US Navy will be in the region's waters after Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin sent the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford and its strike group to the eastern Mediterranean.

"President Biden will always make sure that we are protecting and defending our national security interests wherever those interests are – including particularly in that part of the world," Kirby said.

The US will also continue sending Israel military aid throughout the week, Kirby said, after the Pentagon announced it had begun shipping "air-defense and munitions" earlier Monday.

"We will have more systems to announce over the coming days to ensure that no enemies of Israel believe that they can or should try and seek advantage from the current situation," the spokesman warned.
