I really have to wonder how much Israeli intelligence knew and what they didn't know. Risk vs reward. Acceptable losses vs crushing Hamas now instead of waiting for Hamas gaining heavier and/or more weaponry from the Iranians, Taliban, etc.

How many times did the Israeli politicians stop the settlers from defending themselves in the past? I support Israel, but they have pussyfooted so many times now... let the settlers fight back without being handicapped. 

Also... concerning Trump and North Korea, the best thing that happened to Trump was NK blew up it's test facility (thus slowing themselves down)... Trump did nothing except claim a win where none was to be claimed.

Israel needs to claim buffer zone areas around the country, throw out the Islam folks and let those countries that claim to love them deal with them.

Saw a video of an Israeli woman describing how even though the man had a weapon, there were TEN armed men breaking down the door.

I would rather die defending the house/family than be captured by those animals. Everyone sees the terrorist have no problem being armed with semi autos, they weren't disarmed.

My experiences have made me feel as though Israel was our 51st State... our 'satellite' State keeping an eye on the Middle East for us.

Vividly recall the Six-Day War in 1967.  Was 21 years old  Made an impression on me.

The Israeli military giving civilians in Gaza very specific evacuation instructions. Telling them to move deeper into the strip in multiple areas. It appears Israel will soon start a heavier ground and/or air response.
