Burglar Foolishly Warns Armed Homeowner ‘You’re Gonna Have to Kill Me’

A burglar made a big mistake by challenging an armed homeowner to try and kill him during a home invasion.

The Georgia homeowner confronted the crook in the basement of his property on Thursday, Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb told WAGA-TV.

Before coming face-to-face with the unwelcome thug, the homeowner had called the police to report an intruder.

The home’s alarm system was also alerting the police about a break-in.

Babb says that the homeowner confronted the intruder in the basement and gave him a warning.

Oh, didn't everybody read about this on all the major internet news websites. A homeowner legally defending themselves against a possibly violent intruder.
Surely, it was huge news on the alphabet network news programs, CNN, MSLSD, and other lib channels, right?  :silly:

Shot him twice and the perp lived? Was he shooting a .22?
Need more range time, or a bigger gun.

Foolish to argue with thugs IMHO... or maybe I am just not as "nice". In my home uninvited, waving a knife.... the conversation has ended. I may not use all 17 rounds in case they have friends around, but I am only backing up to get more magazines.

My first thoughts too.  Doesn't he have a gun range nearby, or at least 10 or so acres of woods?
