Getting a cold sucks. Sometimes you even think you are going to die. At least if you are a man. If you are a woman you soldier on as if nothing is wrong.

At least that is what women tell me. Men are babies, women are tough as nails. Who am I to disagree (if I value my life)?

As the CDC and the public health establishment keep pushing dire warnings out to the public and begging people to get vaccinated, the actual disease has done what almost all respiratory diseases do: become less dangerous.

That’s not due to some version of compassion on the part of the virus. There is no “Oops, my bad” thinking on the part of this nasty little strain of RNA or DNA. It’s just evolution at work. Some of that evolution is found in our immune system, and some in the virus itself.

I'm recovering from Covid, was basically like a cold on steroids... I did get the feverish part, but if I wasn't tested I wouldn't know any different.

So I read through the article, and, yeah: the SARS-CoV-2 virus has mutated into less severe/deadly forms; this is what viruses do, ala the Spanish Flu. What I did not see was any evidence supporting the "Pundits disappointed" claim in the article title. I go to Hot Air blog daily and sometimes several times a day. If Hot Air is going to devolve into clickbaiting - lurid headlines unsupported by the articles - I'm outa there.

I think some on the Left were hoping Covid-19/SARS2 would depopulate the Earth more than it has.

I think that's great news. It dovetails with what I saw an MD post on twitter the other day. She said that they are not seeing low oxygen saturation levels with the new variant(s) like they did with the earlier variants.
