60 victims of human trafficking were discovered on a massive illegal marijuana growing operation in Merced County in Central California. According to investigators the victims are not U.S. citizens and were promised good paying jobs by the individuals who smuggled them across the border only to be forced to live in poor conditions and work on a marijuana grow operation

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

  • I don't believe in Trump anymore, he's an illusion
But...but...but we were told that if only we legalized marijuana in California all the illegal operations would just dry up and with the bonus of a flood of new tax revenue. Yeah those of with brains called bullsquat on it from day one.
