The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a warning of “a heightened threat environment,” including possible attacks against such institutions as churches and the police, as the 2024 election draws closer.

Just The News reports that the Memorial Day bulletin issued by the DHS also warned of political violence that could be sparked by “legislative or judicial decisions pertaining to sociopolitical issues.”

“The United States remains in a heightened threat environment,” the bulletin declares. “Lone offenders and small groups motivated by a range of ideological beliefs and personal grievances continue to pose a persistent and lethal threat to the Homeland.”

“Both domestic violent extremists (DVEs) and those associated with foreign terrorist organizations continue to attempt to motivate supporters to conduct attacks in the homeland,” the statement continued, “including through violent extremist messaging and online calls for violence.”

Obviously @sneakypete you must have forgotten the promise that Trump made; he walked across to St. John's church that had been vandalized and with Bible in hand, he promised that he would stop the riots.

He FAILED to do so and here we sit.  Yes, I do blame Trump and no I am definitely not desperate to lay blame, because the blame lies at his feet.

Trump made a promise to the American people to calm the riots and stop them.  Not only did he make the promise once, but he made it twice.  He announced that promise both times and both times he FAILED to do so.  Antifa, BLM and other rioters are still wreaking havoc on our country because no one stopped them! So, yes, I consider this his BIGGEST failure!!!

So basically you are sticking up for his FAILED promises which have had dire consequences on our country.  Got it.

At last night's meeting of our church security team, we reviewed a video of a man approaching a well-known preacher during a church service and screaming at him about doctrinal matters. He was intercepted and escorted out of the sanctuary by church ushers. We critiqued their response and discussed how we would respond in such a situation.

I told Mr. M our greatest challenge is not from guys who hold differing views on Scripture bursting into a church service, but political animals like the Antifa/BLM types, who actually will be armed and eager to commit acts of violence. Considering how both Antifa and BLM have been given a pass - full immunity, as it were - by the federal government, I don't doubt that the FBI and DHS will be behind it. The FBI will divert their "Proud Boys" section to the new "Attack Churches" division.

  Antifa, BLM and other rioters are still wreaking havoc on our country because no one stopped them!

Many of these urban mayors supported them because they thought that these groups would create enough chaos in the country to hurt Donald Trump‘s reelection chances. And I think that was a part of the reason why Donald Trump lost.

Now that same monster they help promote and create is coming back after them.
