If you want to see an example of the large societal change that has occurred in the USA over the past 60 years, compare the attitudes of Teamster President Jimmy Hoffa with today's barista having a meltdown over work.

A pox on the parents who brought into this world and raised that pathetic creature.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

  • The problem with everything is they try and make it better without realizing the old way is fine.

This is what the world would look like if there was no toxic masculinity.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Or any masculinity, period.

In the past, I would have said that a creature like that one  888cryingkitty could be cured of his pathetic attitude after just a few weeks of basic training.

But given the emasculated state of our Army leadership, that might just make it worse.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Or in the '60's south, we on the playgrounds made the needed adjustment to this level of wussery.

Things just worked themselves out.  Nicely.

Believe me: that was also true of the playgrounds up here in the Northeast when I was growing up in the '60s and '70s.
