Just out of curiousity, what makes you think that he or she won't be given the same "treatment" as Trump?

The Democrats obviously will try hard to trash any Republican.  But it is much easier and more effective to do so then the target hands you the ammo.  A lot of times, the "attack" on Trump is simply repeating -- verbatim -- what he actually said or did.

Remember the Dukakis tank ad?   The GOP could have run a hundred ads calling him a national security risk, but none of them would have been as effective as people actually seeing Dukakis himself riding around in a tank.   Trump just isn't a very disciplined speaker.  He tends to shoot from the hip, and as a result says things he shouldn't that just get repeated back at him as negative ads.

It just makes him easier to attack.

Every time I see a thread citing the poll numbers, the first data point I look at is the pollster.

ABC/Ipsos?  This and a few others are the rectal end of left wing bias. 

If the same was reported by Raz or Quinipac?  I might take a little more serious

You also need to see the breakdown of who was polled (Gender, Ethnicity, etc...) and where the polling took place.

It's time for MAGA supporters to get behind a true conservative and most importantly work towards election integrity.
