China spy balloon gathered information from multiple military sites despite attempts to block it, report says

The Chinese balloon that flew across the United States this year was able to gather intelligence from several U.S. military sites and transmit it to Beijing in real time despite the Biden administration's attempts to block it, according to a report from NBC News.

The high-altitude balloon was able to make multiple trips over some of the sites before it was shot down on Feb. 4, at times flying in a figure-eight formation, NBC said, citing two current senior U.S. officials and one former senior administration official.

The FBI continues to assess parts of the Chinese spy balloon recovered after it was shot down in February, Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokesperson, said Monday.

The Pentagon maintains that measures it took to prevent China from acquiring intelligence from sensitive military sites mitigated the balloon’s effectiveness, Singh said.

Golly, the Brandon Boys went from we didn't even know it was there, to well Trump didn't know either, to we kept them from acquiring and transmitting data so no harm was done to finally admitting what everyone with a brain already knew....The Brandon Boys knew it was there all the time and lied about it, Trump didn't know because when he was President they didn't have the tech to find them and so didn't tell him, we couldn't do shit to stop them transmitting the data(yeah sure they tried  *****rollingeyes*****). Oh yeah I forgot, they also said this was no big deal because the Chicoms could already get the info from their spy satellites..........so why have they been sending the balloons? remember the line from Hunt For Red October?  “Russians don't take a dump, son, without a plan.” Well I'm pretty sure that applies to the Chicoms too!

Since 9/11, if an unidientified and unauthorized craft is in American air space, shoot first, ask questions later.

That damn ballon could have been spreading weaponized anthrax spores across America for all we knew at the time.

Do you think there was any American president during the Cold War that would have let a Soviet spy balloon fly across the country gathering information?

I heard that Biden did order it to be shot down, but it was overridden by the military. It was not a priority for them as they were more concerned about pronouns and maternity flight suits
