No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

True story.  I had a friend awhile back who had a husband that never bought her a birthday gift or anniversary gift.  So one year she got fed up and bought her self a 1 carat diamond ring for their anniversary (which he forgot) and showed her husband the ring when she got home and told him, look what you bought me.   They since divorced, but she did make a point!

Mrs. Joe and I got married on my birthday. Best present ever...

I really miss her.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

You really should. I know that sounds hard, but if you think on it, you'll hear me.  :seeya:

I sometimes really miss  my ex,too.

When it gets bad,I just go visit with her for an hour or so,and am reminded why I told her to get caught up  with  gone years ago.

Some things just do NOT improve with  age. Trust me on this one.

I am one of the lucky ones to have had a good marriage, and I wish there could have been more of it.
