It literally is a Tragedy that the Constitution is no longer taught in Grade Schools in Civics Classes.
We don't even teach it in our schools of law these days and wonder why we find ourselves in the mess we do!
If you don't know the Declaration, you will not understand the foundations of the Constitution, either--especially when it comes to the concept of unalienable Rights and the place and purpose of government.
I like when Time allows to go review the Federalist Papers and George Washington's Farewell Address. Both can be found Online.
The Federalist Papers used to be required reading. No better discussion of original intent than the writings there.
Dammit! It's in Cursive...
