Vivaldi - Concerto for Two Violins in A Minor RV522

Just a gratuitous 'bump'....with one of the finest pieces of string music on the planet.

Vivaldi was most likely a 'radical' in his day....in a sense that the music he created and the masks worn were not the acceptable norms of the day.

In a sense he was like any superstar idol today.....given tremendous latitude in behavior and expression....and morals.

Vivaldi - Ouvertures - L'Incoronazione di Dario RV 719

Very recognizable.  Forgotten how beautiful this is, especially the 2nd movement.

Used in some current automobile commercials.....Volvo?  Audi??

Hilary Hahn - Bach Concertos - BWV 1042 - 3. Allegro Assai

After seeing it played by Ben Bosco on his mandolin, you appreciate the talent it takes to play this on a violin.

Just amazing!  A true gift to mankind.

Handel - Arrival of The Queen of Sheba on Mandolin (played by Ben Bosco)

Okay...playing both parts of a duet....but NINE.

What fun it must have been to record over yourself and mixing it all.

Adagio in G Minor (Albinoni)

With the death of Andrew Breitbart this week...and my personal POV of the American landscape in general, this brings me to tears.

F**king Boomers!  We let the government have our children because we were too busy working to pay childcare.

One can only wonder how history will be written to explain how "it" happened.

Vivaldi - Violin Concerto Op.3, No. 12 in E Major, RV 265 (3/3)

This contains a fantastic slide show of Venice.

This Vivaldi classic always puts me in a better mood.   See for yourself!

Those Venetian masks are awesome. One place I would truly like to visit while I am able is Venice, Italy.  I have always been fascinated by it.

Have never been to Venice, Rap.  I'm jealous.

This kid is pretty good on the Moonlight Sonata....on a string.
