Entitled "The Tango," this Spadecaller video features the soundtrack from "Scent of a Woman," with Itzhak Perlman's violin solo.
 This tango was origally written by Carlos Gardel and entitled, "Por una Cabeza"

Ah Pacino, such a great actor!  He did such a marvelous job in this (and many other) movies. I have not seen Scent of a Woman in a long time, I see it comes on Encore from time-to-time, will have to make a point of watching it again./

LOL!  In the first couple of moments the narrator talks about how much of a jerk Beethoven apparently was....as a creative artist.

He seems more real to me...with flaws.

Did you ever watch the movie on his life?  He was a jerk for certain, but then most highly artistic people are not easy to understand or to live with, they can put a whole new spin in tempermental.

I respect creativity in people and give them wide latitude when it comes to interacting socially.  Many are social misfits.

Reminds me of why I was so angry when that homosexual violinist from Rutgers jumped off the NYC bridge after his roommates filmed him having a tryst.

Bullies know no bounds DC..... sad. but all too true..... it isn't just grade or high school, if you do not fit a certain paradigm the odds are you are going to have an unhappy life.

I agree completely.  I have no doubt she is from very fine stock.

I saw Phantom both in LA and NYC, would see it again in a heartbeat.  I like to think Sarah Brightman was a muse to Andrew Lloyd Webber as IMHO he did some of his best work while married to her, and who wouldn't write for that amazing voice.  I have a CD of her work (Michael Crawford, too) as you know I love Lake Powell.  When you are up there amoung those amazing prehistoric canyons and the CD cranked up playing this music with it reverberating off the canyon walls it gives you goosebumps.

Gosh, The Phantom...  Thanks for that DC.  I have seen it twice in Chicago and Louisville, Milwaukee and Green Bay.  Louisville is a first-rate place for theater.

I too, saw it twice....in NYC and the Kennedy Center in DC.  It's been difficult for me to enjoy other musicals, since Phantom raised the bar quite a bit IMO.
