The water level in Lake Mead is reaching record lows and the popular narrative maintains that drought brought on by human-caused climate change is to blame.

Exactly so, and the overuse actually comes in two forms, not just using the water to irrigate crops.  The second is electrical generation.  I suspect a lot of water is being released downstream in order to spin the Hoover Dam generators to feed the Las Vegas grid.

I notice, for example, neither Lake Mohave nor Lake Havasu are low (the former being literally in the view of our Castillo).  These are the lakes immediately downstream from Hoover Dam.

Besides, if there isn't enough water to spin the turbines, the greenies can howl for more whirlygigs and bird burners--and blame "climate change" the whole way. 9999hair out0000

If it really is Climate Change, then like the Anasazi and Chaco Canyon folks, some towns might be drying up.
