Gary Howell, a legislator in my state (a business owner in a small town) posted this to Fakebook:

Not only is the "grid" not up to the added burden, but residential areas are nowhere near ready.  There will not be any way to charge a car at home, f the entire neighbor hood has EVs.  And, a new utility service would have to be installed in the individual homes because houses just weren't built to be able to run 3 A/C units all night.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

What Congresscritter Howell doesn't seem to understand is that the gooberment KNOWS this, and this is WHY they are pushing electric cars and trucks.
He's a state legislator from Mineral County, WV, and a solid conservative. He knows the feds are intentionally requiring the impossible.
The abnormal is not the normal just because it is prevalent.
