I am really surprised by this....here we go, Crist again!  How many times is this guy going to run and I find it interesting that he once again is running on the DEM ticket.

Charlie Crist Wins Chance To Take On Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis And His $132 million

Charlie Crist on Tuesday won the Democratic nomination for Florida governor, giving him a second shot at the job he once held as a Republican.

Crist defeated Nikki Fried, the sitting agriculture commissioner and currently the only Democrat in a statewide office, which now allows him to take on incumbent Gov. Ron DeSantis. The Florida Republican has spent recent months campaigning around the country as a prelude to a widely expected 2024 presidential run.

Fried, who had once been 30 points behind in polling, seemed to gain momentum in recent weeks thanks to a surge of women voters angered by the U.S. Supreme Court striking down Roe v. Wade.

It’s unclear whether voters who view abortion rights as a top priority will enthusiastically back Crist against DeSantis, who pushed for and supports the state’s new law banning the procedure after 15 weeks. Crist was a pro-choice Republican, earning the enmity of many in his party’s base. However, as a GOP governor, he appointed two strongly anti-abortion judges to the Florida Supreme Court.

In any event, whether that issue alone will be enough for Crist to defeat an incumbent governor is unclear.

No sitting governor has lost re-election in Florida since 1990, and that only happened because Republican Bob Martinez was challenged by the immensely popular Lawton Chiles, who had already served three terms in the U.S. Senate...............

As popular as DeSantis is, at least among conservatives, Crist is going to give him a run for his money.  He is well known, was a Republican governor before and he has quite a list of endorsements:

And you thought that Fried was gonna win.  Stop with the negative waves.

I did.  Negative waves, well .... I'm surprised that people pulled the lever for Crist yet again, he has flip-flopped on so many issues and changed parties a couple of times.

Crist cruises to primary victory in Florida, but Democrats are 'fatalistic' about defeating DeSantis

Rep. Charlie Crist cruised to primary victory over Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried Tuesday night in Florida, NBC News projects, answering the one big question Democrats have fretted about for months: Who will be the underdog to face popular Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis?

Crist garnered 59.2% of the vote to Fried's 35.4% as of 8:12 p.m. ET, with 90% of vote in the state in, according to NBC News.

But heading into Election Day, few Democratic insiders and political observers gave either Crist or Fried much of a chance in November, citing every recent public poll showing DeSantis leading Crist.

As DeSantis’ historic $140 million re-election war chest grows by the day, national Democrats have signaled they won’t invest in Florida as heavily as in the past. The state’s growing Hispanic electorate has been shifting rightward since 2018. And, for the first time ever, there are now more registered Florida Republicans than Democrats — a key indicator of voter intensity.

“Fatalistic is probably the best word to describe Democrats’ mood,” said Sean Phillippi, a Florida Democratic data scientist who voted for Crist...............

One thing about DeSantis running against two snarky, sanctimonious queens ... he will be ready for Pete Buttigieg.

DeSantis needs to search his garage for an old floor fan.  Preferably one that is unbalanced and loaded with cobwebs.  Bring it to the debate, aim it at Charlise, and turn it on High.

Is Fried the bureaucrat who tried to use his department against FL gun owners?
I am not and never have been a leftist.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.
