Mildew Points, Poor Housing Circumstances for Troops Are Rampant. What Can Congress Do?

What they can do, or will do, are two different animals.  They won't do a d*mn thing until they get rid of their bias against the people who keep their sorry *sses free. :yowsa:

It's even more insidious than that.
Sick troops are not effective troops.
Troops with sick dependents are less capable of staying on task--their thoughts are elsewhere.
This goes far beyond disrespect, and enters into a subtle means of degrading combat readiness.
Healthy troops are most effective, and it behooves us to safeguard the health of those who guard us all.

I am torn, 30+ years ago it was commonplace to have such in living quarters. People dealt with it, now suddenly everyone gets sick over it.

Folks have become vulnerable living in rarified environments... Kids need dirt when they're growing up... trains the immune system.
