Vice Commander retires from first all-female command team at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling
After a 24-year career, the Vice Commander of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Colonel Erika Rabe, is retiring. Wednesday marked her last day on the job.
“It’s weird,” Colonel Erika Rabe said. She called it bittersweet. “I'm not retiring because I am tired. I am retiring because the timing is right."
Rabe is the Vice Commander of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling’s first all-female command team.
