There's a generation of us old gals who can't hear the name "Alice Lon" without fondly remembering her namesake petticoats. Dayum, we thought we were so amazing wearing those things. We endured the scratchy for the beauty statement. We are, after all, the generation that slept on brush rollers. ***blushing*** Which explains a lot.  888mouth

I wore petticoats a few times when I was young.  I didn't sleep on brush rollers, but had rollers that had little combs that clipped. They weren't all that comfortable either.

Then ... when I hit my teens they came out with steam rollers which saved me from having to sleep with rollers.

Yes, we gals paid a high price for beauty before the invention of hand-held dryers, curling irons and hot rollers. I wonder if those guys appreciated the effort we put in to catch their eye.  wink777

Obscure is good.  :yowsa: IMHO, it's good to get exposure to various genres. We don't have to like them all, but we can at least check them out, right? I like this one. It's got a unique sound. I'm glad you posted it.

About my name... I didn't choose it to make a statement about my music preferences, although I do like some jazz. I chose it to reflect my dogs' names: Jazz and Zoey.
