Harrowing video shows wild broad-daylight shooting in Brooklyn

Shocking new video released Wednesday shows a wild broad-daylight shootout on a Brooklyn street.

Two groups of four approached each other on Mermaid Avenue near West 25th Street in Coney Island around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

About five people opened fire during the clash, police said.

Video released by the NYPD shows the shooters letting off a flurry of rounds on the sidewalk before retreating down the block.

In all, about 36 rounds were fired, causing property damage only, cops said.

One of the groups fled into a nearby building, while the other group fled east on Mermaid Avenue.

Such lovely yutes.

I wonder: how did they get their pistol licenses given NYC's nearly impossible ownership standards?

How ever did they get the Chief of Police to sign their applications after they were fingerprinted, as required?

How did they all pass their background checks?

And don't they know that 9mm's can blow people's lungs out?

"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge
