Border town mayor: 'Powder keg about to blow up' after Title 42 ends and migrants swarm U.S.

Instead of deporting mostly single young male illegal immigrants, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents are releasing them into Texas communities, one of which is the border town of Uvalde, located roughly 80 miles southwest of San Antonio.

Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin said CBP agents told him to expect up to 150 people to be released daily into his community, Fox 29 News reported. A minimum of 150 people released a day, 365 days a year, translates to 54,750 people being released into a town with a population of roughly 17,000.

Just a couple weeks ago, one of the myriad flag officers in the Army tried making the case that the border was not a military responsibility.  I guess he lost. :bs:

From the article:

OK, I don't live anywhere near Texas, and was only there once, for about 40 minutes (at DFW airport).

But... I would imagine that the state of Texas has a pretty sizable "unorganized citizen militia", does it not? By that, I mean law-abiding civilian gun owners.

Time to call them up for service to the state. Draft 'em.
Give them several days of training.
Send them to the border, under experienced commanders.
Issue them rubber bullets (to start).
Line them up, closely spaced.
Then issue the order, "no one crosses. Use your discretion, gentlemen".

Want the border invasion ended?
THIS is how you "end it".

Please... don't give me the "this doesn't meet Constitutional requirements".
The fed-communists -- who now hold the "official" position of enforcing the Constitution and defending the borders -- have turned 180 degrees away from it.

If the feds dare make a military move to stop Texans, perhaps the Texans ought to consider "turning 180 degrees", as well.

That's my position and I'm stickin' to it.
