The special aired on Tuesday night during an episode of “Special Report with Bret Baier.” The Fox News host laid out the timeline of the virus and what occurred in the early days of the pandemic. Documents obtained by Fox News show that Fauci, who is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was given a heads up early on that the coronavirus may have originated in a lab in Wuhan, China, and that it was potentially manmade.
Fauci reportedly found out on January 27, 2020, that his organization had been indirectly funding the Chinese lab through EcoHealth, which is a US scientific company that works with novel coronaviruses.
