Simply knocking on the sheetrock and listening to the sound at least gets you a heck of a lot closer than that.

Not only was it MUCH lighter than actual wood,there was no expensive and time-consuming maintenance.

I remember those days. We had a 1977 Olds Custom Cruiser and a 1979 Chrysler station wagon that had the fake vinyl paneling.

My favorite vehicle was a 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and it had the wood grain vinyl, I'll never forget the day my wife called me at work to tell me it burned up on the freeway
