If they were frozen, then a cube could be manufactured - so long as the temperature was kept cold enough.

Where is that bus stop? Some liquid nitrogen and a hammer, and that money is as good as mine.
I'd take an acetylene torch and cut it off at the supporting flange. Then I can take it home and perform anything I want to in a shop. Diamond saws work for this.
My personal favorite is thermite, but that would have burnt up the money too.
