Waiting for a friend to pick me up and take me to the ER. Diabetes doc took me off Metformin,and gave me an insulin pencil to inject 20 grains/grams/whatever into my stomach once a day. My BS readings have been 288 both days,and it was never over 213 before.

So confused I had a hard time remembering how to send a text to my friend to come get me,but I think I have it figured out now.

Might be a few days before I am back online.

Sitting here in the house with the thermostate set at 90,shivering so hard I have trouble typing. That's big when you consider I am wearing a down winter jacket over a hoodie.

Hope your visit is a short one and they get your sugar levelled out. I have on occasions spiked to a bit over 300 but never had the issues you are going through. Wishing you all the best.

Been debating on sending prayers your way since you have said you didn't want them, but I don't care, been praying for you off/on all day (saw your post when nobody had replied yet). A soul is too precious to ignore.
