Sen. Johnson says COVID-19 peaked before vaccine rollout, resurged after mass vaccinations

According to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), COVID-19 vaccines are not working as advertised by the Biden administration. During a speech on the Senate floor Wednesday, the senator said coronavirus cases and deaths had dropped before the vaccines were introduced earlier this year.

“The federal agencies have not been transparent,” he stated. “They have not given the American public information that we need to make an informed choice.”

Additionally, the Wisconsin lawmaker claimed the resurgence of infections this summer happened after roughly half of U.S. population was vaccinated. He stressed this is not how immunity works and said something is not right.

“We all hoped and prayed that the vaccine would be 100 percent effective and 100 percent safe,” said the Republican lawmaker. “But when we look at this chart as the pandemic is winding down with the percent of fully vaccinated individuals is going up, you would think what you would see is just a complete winding down of the pandemic. But that’s not what we’ve seen. We see this new surge.”

The key part:  "has no symptoms" - which means it's a nothing-burger.

The only metric that should matter is this:  how many instances of exposure to covid-19 result in cases with serious symptoms?

Without symptoms, I'm glad he's been exposed, he'll now have some good old fashioned natural immunity to boost his failing vaccine-induced synthetic immunity.

The vaccines were primarily deleveloped for SARS1 and MERS, and then adapted to an early sequenced genome of Alpha/Beta variants provided by the Chinese Communist Party in January, 2020.

Since then, Covid-19/SARS2 has evolved faster than our vaccines.  Nature and natural selection are occuring at a rapid pace, on a global scale.  This is a virologist's nightmare.

Because of evolotion and natural selection, vaccines that were hoped to prevent infection, are only now effective against hospitalization and death.  Given enough opportunity and statistical math and probabilities, the current vaccines may be even less effective by Spring 2022.

The viral genie is out of the Wuhan lab, and in the wild, doing what Nature does best - evolving and adapting to survive and dominate.  We've fallen behind in a race against mathematics.

Looking at the actual data here, https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ , new cases peaked almost a month after vaccines were authorized, and there have been a brief, much lesser bump and a much less severe surge since that authorization. Daily deaths tell the same story, but on steroids. During the lesser new cases bump daily deaths plateaued (after falling for a couple of months), and were even more less severe during the surge.

Sen. Johnson's premise is false, and the real-world data is unsupportive of his conclusions.

SEN. RON JOHNSON: We do not have an FDA-approved vaccine being administered in the U.S. The FDA played a bait and switch. They approved the Comirnaty version of Pfizer drugs. It’s not available in the U.S. They even admit it. I sent them a letter three days later going "What are you doing?"

 What they did is they extended the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer drug vaccine that’s available in the U.S., here that’s more than 30 days later, they haven’t asked that very simple question. If you’re saying that the Pfizer drug is the same as the Comirnaty, why didn’t you provide FDA approval on that?

So, there’s not an FDA-approved drug and, of course, they announced it so they could push through these mandates so that people actually think, "Oh, OK now these things are FDA approved." They are not and again, maybe they should be, but the FDA isn’t telling me why.

Johnson referred directly to public health figures from England, because health authorities in the United States are obfuscating the facts or misleading Americans with their Covid reports.

“Let’s look at some data,” Sen. Johnson said. “The type of data we are not getting from our healthcare agencies, so we have to look, unfortunately, to England and Israel, that are more transparent.”
