Ohio parents launch anti-CRT initiative, private school retaliates by expelling their students
July 3, 2021 | Jon Dougherty

A private school in Ohio has expelled three students after their mothers launched an initiative to push back against the inclusion of the highly controversial and ethnicity-based Critical Race Theory curriculum.

Administrators at the Columbus Academy, where tuition can be as much as $30,000 per year, sent letters to Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez, two parents, informing them their kids won’t be permitted back at the school, Fox News reported Friday.

In the letters, school officials accused the mothers of “false and misleading attacks” on the institution, which includes K-12 grade, and its leaders via an “inflammatory” crusade that included making erroneous statements about students being exposed to bomb-sniffing dogs while on campus.

But it's all for the kids, right?
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

An interesting article by Gregory Hood with a different take on CRT:

The schools are doing the kids a favor.

That was my immediate thought. If the parents were paying $20K-$30K a year per student, they could probably find a Catholic or Evangelical Christian school charging half that tuition. Or if they homeschool, picking and choosing curricular materials would probably be under $3K per student. Those parents should have a long talk with their munchkins to learn how much crap that school shoveled into their minds.
