 (CNN)Law enforcement officials have arrested a Texas man who they say was planning a "mass casualty event," possibly at a Walmart.

Coleman Thomas Blevins, 28, of Kerrville, was arrested Friday "on a warrant for a Terroristic Threat to Create Public Fear of Serious Bodily Injury," according to a news release from the Kerr County Sheriff's Office (KCSO).

Multiple agencies worked together for a week to intercept and foil the plan for an attack on the public, the release said, including the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, the FBI, the Kerrville Police Department and the US Secret Service.



Authorities searched Blevins' home and said they found items including firearms and ammunition.
"Through the period of investigation, KCSO investigators made contact and conversed with Mr. Blevins, confirmed his affiliation and (his) networking with extremist ideologies," the sheriff's office said.

"On May 27th, KCSO Special Operations Division intercepted a message indicating that Blevins was preparing to proceed with a mass shooting. In the message, Mr. Blevins made a specific threat that included WalMart. Working with the FBI, KCSO Investigators confirmed Mr. Blevins' capability of following through with the threat and moved immediately to arrest him," it said.

After Blevins' arrest, authorities searched his home and said they found various items including firearms and ammunition.
"In that warrant service, firearms, ammunition, electronic evidence, concentrated THC, and radical ideology paraphernalia, including books, flags, and handwritten documents were seized. Mr. Blevins is currently on active felony probation and is prohibited from possessing firearms," the news release from the sheriff's office said.

Those truly ignorant of history - which is most of America and all of the news media, it seems - believe Hitler was a Christian. It doesn't occur to them that an actual Christian would be diametrically opposed to the tenets of nazism.

Note that while Coleman Thomas Blevins’ Qur’an and Saudi flag (which features the Islamic profession of faith, “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet”) feature prominently in the photo of his paraphernalia, the execrable New York Post doesn’t mention them, while making sure to note that he had a “swastika and other Nazi symbols and extremist books like The Turner Diaries.’”

I’m not saying he is a jihadi. He seems like a nut, with a smorgasbord of subversive material of all kinds. But why does the Post not deign to mention that some of that material was Islamic? Why does the establishment media always consider it a duty to cover up for Islam and the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings? ...

There were 5 flags in the picture in the NYP article. A Nazi flag, a Confederate flag, the Saudi flag, a Felangist flag, and some sort of flag with Orthodox Russian symbols. The NYP article did not describe ANY of the flags. The NYP did not "cover up for Islam and the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings" in not mentioning the Saudi flag. Spencer and the Geller Report are trying to Himalayanize a non-existent mole hill, not very honest.

They believe he was "Christian" because he was raised in a white European non-jewish home and John Toland reported in his biography of Hitler that little Adolph wanted to be a priest when he was a small child.   He also played as a cowboy, so maybe he wanted to star in Broke Back Mountain, too.

The guy was no Christian.  Christians have to at least pretend to hold some beliefs that are recognizably Christian.   Mormons are more Christian than Hitler, even though they hold some weird beliefs not trained into former Romin' 0Catholics like myself.  Except for Romney, I'm pretty sure Hitler and Romney had/have roughly equivalent internal levels of Christianity in them, essentially that they've heard the word somewhere but don't know what it means.  But hey, Hitler is better than Romney.  At least Hitler thought he was doing good for Germany.  Nobody can say that Romney believes he's helping America.    Nobody can believe that.

All the Mormons I've met are great people so don't rag on me for this.   But that's how to segue into beating on Romney, something that should be done daily by everyone who loves America.
