They just can't give up the power despite the new CDC guidelines. Many school boards are still requiring that students wear masks despite the near zero risk of children and teens catching the virus.
We have a nephew running for the San Diego County Unified School District. He a conservative teacher, and his main campaign platform is "Kids belong in school!"He's very young, and I think he has a good chance.
