Wow.  A twofer on enemy kills.  High Five to the IDF!

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — An Israeli airstrike destroyed a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed offices of The Associated Press and other media outlets on Saturday, hours after another air raid on a densely populated refugee camp in the city killed at least 10 Palestinians from an extended family, mostly children.

The strike on the high-rise came nearly an hour after the military ordered people to evacuate the 12-story building, which also housed Al-Jazeera, other offices and residential apartments. The strike brought down the entire structure, which collapsed in a gigantic cloud of dust. There was no immediate explanation for why it was attacked.

Now we know why the reports from the @ap were so pro-Palestinian Authority.
The AP should tell us who exactly they’ve been paying rent to....was their landlord a Hamas front company, @jpaceDC?

Yikes!

I suspect there was more in the building than just propaganda outlets for the Arab Palis. BMM reported that AP was claiming they barely avoided a lot of people being killed. In reality, as admitted in the NPR article, they had a full hour's warning. So AP demonstrated they are a lying anti-Israel propaganda outlet.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? The AP doesn't even hide their anti-Israeli bias.  The whole tone of the hit piece was not even objective.

After providing advance warning to civilians & time to evacuate, IDF fighter jets struck a multi-story building containing Hamas military intelligence assets.

The building contained civilian media offices, which Hamas hides behind and deliberately uses as human shields.

I'm surprised Twitter hasn't shut down the IDF's account. Maybe it's a matter of when rather than if.

The @AP pays rent to the anonymous owner of the high rise that housed terrorists.
Why is @jpaceDC and the AP hiding the name of the owner of a front company for Hamas?
Release the name. It’s a crime to give money to Hamas linked individuals.

This was decision by the AP to place their bureau offices within a known Hamas safehouse; the reason they did it was for journalistic access, never imagining that something like this might happen. Hamas, of course, WANTED either defense or for it to happen for propaganda.

The moral of the story is: when you're dealing with terrorist regimes that like to use people as human shields, don't set your office up in a place that can potentially be compromised by people who want to use you as human shields.

Hamas is notorious for trying to place its military/terrorist infrastructure within civilian or media zones. They aren't stupid: they don't care about the loss of human life, they want a potentially great international story and they know how it will be reported. Be hardhearted.  ...

Someone should tell the IDF so they can adjust their targets away from civilians.

When the IDF warns the Palestinians that a building is about to be hit, Hamas moves civilians into that building at gunpoint so that they can be political casualties in the propaganda war.

What the Media Gets Wrong About Israel

The news tells us less about Israel than about the people writing the news, a former AP reporter says.

MATTI FRIEDMAN   |   NOVEMBER 30, 2014

During the Gaza war this summer, it became clear that one of the most important aspects of the media-saturated conflict between Jews and Arabs is also the least covered: the press itself. The Western press has become less an observer of this conflict than an actor in it, a role with consequences for the millions of people trying to comprehend current events, including policymakers who depend on journalistic accounts to understand a region where they consistently seek, and fail, to productively intervene.

An essay I wrote for Tablet on this topic in the aftermath of the war sparked intense interest. In the article, based on my experiences between 2006 and 2011 as a reporter and editor in the Jerusalem bureau of the Associated Press, one of the world’s largest news organizations, I pointed out the existence of a problem and discussed it in broad terms. Using staffing numbers, I illustrated the disproportionate media attention devoted to this conflict relative to other stories, and gave examples of editorial decisions that appeared to be driven by ideological considerations rather than journalistic ones.  .  .  .

.  .  .  Hamas understood that reporters could be intimidated when necessary and that they would not report the intimidation; Western news organizations tend to see no ethical imperative to inform readers of the restrictions shaping their coverage in repressive states or other dangerous areas. In the war’s aftermath, the NGO-UN-media alliance could be depended upon to unleash the organs of the international community on Israel, and to leave the jihadist group alone.

When Hamas’s leaders surveyed their assets before this summer’s round of fighting, they knew that among those assets was the international press. The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby—and the AP wouldn’t report it, not even in AP articles about Israeli claims that Hamas was launching rockets from residential areas. (This happened.) Hamas fighters would burst into the AP’s Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn’t report it. (This also happened.) Cameramen waiting outside Shifa Hospital in Gaza City would film the arrival of civilian casualties and then, at a signal from an official, turn off their cameras when wounded and dead fighters came in, helping Hamas maintain the illusion that only civilians were dying. (This too happened; the information comes from multiple sources with firsthand knowledge of these incidents.)

Colford, the AP spokesman, confirmed that armed militants entered the AP’s Gaza office in the early days of the war to complain about a photo showing the location of a rocket launch, though he said that Hamas claimed that the men “did not represent the group.” The AP “does not report many interactions with militias, armies, thugs or governments,” he wrote.

Yes .. and then Israel takes to the cameras bemoaning who the bad Palestinians made them kill.  We've seen all this bullshit before. There are no innocents here; not the Palestinians and not the Israelis.  Neither side holds the scepter of righteousness.

The Palestiian idiots are still trying to use balloons to take down the US funded IDF --- just drag their assses to the peace table.  If Israel won't join them, BDS their economy into the ground until they do.

It's enough.

Hamas doesn't want peace.  That should be apparent to anyone with a functional brain.  Have you ever been to Israel?  I strongly recommend you visit and see for yourself instead of buying into MSM Pallywood BS.

Personally, I would have kept the Suez Canal.  Also, take control of the Temple Mount and do with it as they please.  Re-open the East Gate.  And kick the Iranians the hell out of Gaza, permanently.  No more warnings either.

Hamas doesn't want peace.

Neither does Israel.  Peace would mean annexation ... and Jewish State of Israel does not want this.

Yes, frequently and with some regularity before COVID. .  What's your point?

Well, military occupation is against international law, so Israel, if they want peace, can annex the West Bank and Gaza or give their blessings for a completely independent State of Palestine.

If they want peace.
