But David Weiss, the US attorney overseeing the federal tax probe involving Biden's son Hunter, will remain in place
US Attorney John Durham, who was appointed as a special counsel to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, will also stay in that capacity
It's fairly customary for the US attorneys to resign with a new president

The Justice Department will ask US attorneys who were appointed by former President Donald Trump to resign from their posts as the Biden administration moves to transition to its own nominees, a senior official said Monday.
A total of 56 attorneys are expected to begin stepping down as early as Tuesday, while two with major roles have been asked to stay on.
One of them is David Weiss, the US attorney overseeing the federal tax probe involving Biden's son, Hunter Biden.
