I knew we had all escaped a massacre on Jan 6th. I did not realize specifically that Mitt Romney and Mike Pence had escaped it by seconds.
Oh brother.

I can’t imagine how much more the story of the Capitol hill riot will evolve over the coming months. I saw some people scrapping with cops, but most were scampering through the Capitol like children turned loose inside an empty church sanctuary on Saturday afternoon. The worst atrocity I saw was committed by a cop.

Look at this slide   pointing-up   I understand Trump's defense team wanting to avoid the election quagmire and stick to the one article of impeachment ... but now doesn't it appear the defense team needs to present at least some factual defense of stolen election?  Or does this muddy the acquittal waters?
