Okay, I haven't read the bill, but from the segment with Tucker, she said that the Bill, as written, will only invite a storm of litigation, and not achieve the objective. She is apparently looking to secure K-12 sports first, then take on the NCAA with a coalition of States.
As a fan of the UND "Fighting Sioux", (not the 'hawks' or whatever they are now, after the NCAA was all offended by a logo designed by an American Indian and approved by one Tribe's elders and finally bullied that name and logo into oblivion), I will wait to see if the tyranny of the NCAA can be broken.
I have to keep in mind that the GOP(e) is crapping their britches over the thought of another populist and Right of 'center' candidate out there for 2024, and will do what they can to scuttle such, even if that means sending Bills with poison pills, which look or sound good superficially, to those Governors to put them in a social media/media bind with potential supporters.
